## Overview

Projects and Experiments provide a structured way to organize research activities, document experimental work, and track which materials and equipment were used. This creates a complete audit trail linking inventory consumption to specific scientific activities.

* Group related experiments under projects for grants, publications, or research themes
* Collaborate across users and labspaces on shared projects
* Record protocols, attach files, add notes, and track progress for each experiment
* Log product consumption and equipment usage to specific experiments
* Link material usage to grants for reporting and reproducibility
* Monitor project and experiment status (In Progress, Completed, On Hold)
